Alexandra-Maria-Lara

Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is the Romanian TV presenter and actress. She's best known as the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of 16she already landed several television roles, including the lead role in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. Her portrayal of Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historic war film), was critically and commercially acclaimed. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated movies featuring this beautiful diva. Alexandra is engaged in numerous notable projects, both nationally and internationally. They include the British biographical film Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time as well as the French historical mini-series Napoleon as well as other miniseries. She also served on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, and at Cannes Film Festival.
